Cake pops make it easy to serve a little bite of delicious cake in a portable and easy to eat fashion. We will show you how to make them in the convenient cake pop maker!
Lightly oil the cooking plates and plug the cake pop maker in to heat it up. There should be an indicator light that notifies you when the device is ready. Combine the sugar with the melted butter.
Add the eggs and mix until smooth.
Add the flour, baking soda and baking powder.
Add the milk and mix until smooth.
Pour the batter into a piping bag and fill each cake pop cavity in the cake pop maker to just below the top (careful not to overfill).
Close the lid and bake for 4 to 5 minutes (you can use a toothpick to check if it's ready). When finished, unplug the unit and let it cool before wiping clean. If there is excess cake on the cake balls (which is common), simply remove it with a small knife.
Mix the powdered sugar and the orange juice until smooth.
Let the cake pops cool and roll them in the orange glaze to cover the top. Let them dry before inserting the treat sticks or serving them directly.
