Melt the butter in a microwave (or you could use the electric skillet if you don't have access to one). Once it’s melted, transfer to a bowl and add the cinnamon.
Add the oil, egg, vanilla and brown and white sugars to the butter. Mix well.
Add the flour, baking powder and salt, and mix with a wooden spoon until well combined.
Add oats and pecans and mix well.
Divide dough into 1 tbsp. portions and arrange them in the electric skillet (around 2 inches apart). Flatten them a little with a spatula.
Cover and bake until golden on the bottom and the edges start to firm up, about 8 minutes (if it's not easy to flip them, they are not quite ready). Flip them, cover again and bake 6 more minutes or until golden brown and baked through.
