How to Make a Slushy Margarita
Equal parts smoothie, slushy, and adult beverage, the sweet and sour drink is the perfect way for people of legal drinking age to cool off when the weather gets hot.
Servings 1 slushy margarita
Preparation of Glass:
- 1 lime wedge
- 2 tbsp. sugar
For the Margarita:
- ¼ cup strawberries clean and sliced
- 1 ½ oz. tequila
- 1 oz. triple sec
- ½ oz. lime juice
- 2 tsp. white sugar
- 1 cup ice cubes
- Peppermint leaves to garnish
Rub a lime wedge on the rim of the glass. Spread the sugar on a flat plate and dip glass to coat.
Blend strawberries, tequila, triple sec, lime juice, sugar and ice cubes until smooth.
Serve the slushy margarita garnished with peppermint leaves and enjoy.
