These baked turnip fries are deliciously spiced and pair well with the creamy, yogurt dipping sauce. They are an excellent low-starch and low-calorie alternative to traditional potato French fries.
Add the turnip sticks to a large bowl and toss with the olive oil. Add the oregano, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper. Toss until the turnips are evenly coated with the spices.
Transfer the turnips to a large baking sheet and spread them out.
Bake for about 30 to 40 minutes in the preheated oven, stirring halfway through, or until golden brown.
For the dip, mix the yogurt, dill, garlic and lemon juice together. Season with some salt and pepper.
Garnish the turnip fries with the chives and serve with the dip!

You can store any leftover dipping sauce in a sealed container in the refrigerator for 1-2 days. The fries can be stored covered in the fridge for up to 1 week.
Reheat the fries in the oven at 400°F on a lightly greased or parchment-lined baking sheet to restore crispiness.
