Next time you’re craving a chocolaty, fudgy morsel to satisfy your sweet tooth, try this cake pop maker mini brownie bites recipe. These are a fun, tasty alternative to your traditional chocolate brownie, and they’re easy to make.
Melt the chocolate and butter together by: using a double boiler, or melt it in the microwave, in a microwave safe bowl, at 20 second intervals. Stir each time until fully melted.
6 ounces dark chocolate bar, 5 ounces butter
Add the melted chocolate/butter mixture to the dry ingredients and mix together with a wooden spoon. Add the eggs and vanilla. Mix until well combined.
3 eggs, 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Lightly oil the cake pop maker cooking plates and plug it in to preheat. Transfer the brownie batter to the cake pop maker cavities using a piping bag or teaspoon.
Close the lid and bake for about 8 minutes, or until baked through. I like to use a narrow spatula to remove them.
They will be hot inside, so let them cool and enjoy!
Notes
Baking Time: Baking time may vary, depending on your cake pop maker.
Room Temperature Storage: Store uneaten brownie bites in an airtight container to preserve freshness, and enjoy for up to 4 days!
Freezer Storage: If you don't want to make the full batch at once, you can freeze the brownie batter for later use. You can also freeze the baked brownie bites in a freezer bag for up to 3 months.
Piping Bag Alternative: If you'd rather use a piping bag but don't have one on hand, a plastic zip top bag with the corner cut off works just as well. Or, you can skip the bag and use a teaspoon.
