This mac and cheese flavored ice cream is something new and exciting for you to try! While it does sound weird to mix ice cream with savory comfort food, you may be pleasantly surprised by its iconic, creamy, cheesy flavor resembling the dinner food we grew up on.
Place a 9”×5” loaf pan in the freezer while you make the ice cream.
Whip the heavy cream in a large bowl with an electric hand mixer, until stiff peaks form.
2 cups heavy cream
Whisk the sweetened condensed milk with the cheese powder and turmeric in a separate bowl, until the powder is dissolved. It will be thick. Slowly add the mixture into the whipped cream and continue to whip until it is fully incorporated.
Spread the mixture out into the loaf pan and cover with a piece of parchment paper. Return to the freezer for at least 6 hours or overnight (until frozen).
To serve, scoop into bowls and enjoy!
