This easy-to-make honey dill sauce is perfect as a dip for chicken fingers, veggies and fries, or even as a salad dressing! It's my recreation of the famous Manitoba sauce.
Whisk all sauce ingredients together in a small bowl.
¾ cup mayonnaise, 2 tablespoons honey, 1 tablespoon fresh dill
Use as a dipping sauce for chicken fingers, fries, etc.
Notes
Store in a jar or air-tight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
Some variations of the honey dill sauce include adding some lemon juice and mustard powder for some extra zing. Personally, I like it without but you're welcome to experiment.
Dried dill can also be used in place of fresh, but be sure to lower the amount as dried is more potent. 1 tablespoon fresh dill = 1 teaspoon dried dill.
