This homemade, virgin strawberry daiquiri is an easy and quick, frozen mocktail that still has the same slushy texture and sweetness as the rum-filled version but without the alcohol.
Add the frozen strawberries, sugar, lime juice, water and ice cubes to a blender.
Blend until smooth.
Serve in a cocktail glass.
Notes
If you only have small frozen strawberries, add a couple more than the recipe calls for.
If you're freezing your own strawberries, pick the brightest, deep red strawberries that are sweet.
If the daiquiri is too thick for your liking, add an extra splash of water or two when blending.
If it's too liquidy, add a couple more frozen strawberries or ice cubes.
If you wish to have a good snack to pair with your non-alcoholic daiquiri, I recommend salty and crunchy snacks like popcorn, tortilla chips or pretzels (personal favorite). You can include dips like guacamole and/or salsa.
If you are looking for a salty, hot meal to serve it with, fried chicken with French fries are a great choice; kimchi fish tacos are great too. These hot dishes contrast well with the cold drink and will give your tastebuds a break from the sugar.
