These Homemade Mini Pizza Bites are quick and easy to cook up in a cake pop maker. Stuffed with everything you know and love about pizza, such as mozzarella cheese, bacon crumbles, and marinara sauce.
Lightly oil the cake pop maker plates. Mix cheeses, garlic, olive oil, Italian seasoning, bacon, salt and pepper in a bowl.
¾ cup mozzarella cheese, ¼ cup Parmesan cheese, 2 garlic cloves, 2 tablespoons olive oil, 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning mix, ¼ cup crunchy bacon bits
Roll out the dough on a floured table. Use a pizza cutter to cut out 24 squares. Alternatively, you can use a round cookie cutter to make circles.
1 pizza dough ball
Place 1 teaspoon of filling in one of the squares, close it in your hand and roll it to form an even ball. (If it gets sticky, you can add a bit of flour.) Repeat with the remaining squares. Preheat the cake pop maker.
Place the balls in the cake pop maker. Close the lid and cook for 3-5 minutes, or until they are golden brown. If they didn't brown evenly, you can flip them over and cook until golden on both sides.
Repeat with remaining dough balls. Let cool 1 to 2 minutes.
Serve with the pizza sauce or marinara!
½ cup pizza sauce
