Combine all ingredients, except for the garnishes, in a blender.
½ cup pumpkin purée, 2 teaspoons sweetener, ¾ teaspoon pumpkin pie spice, 1 ½ cups orange juice, 1 ½ cups pineapple juice, ½ cup spiced rum, ¼ cup orange liqueur
Transfer the punch to a punch bowl, pitcher or keep it in the blender.
Serve with ice. Use cherries and orange slices to garnish the glasses.
Notes
Alcohol content: You can add more or less rum, depending on your preference. Remember to drink responsibly!
Pumpkin pulp: If you prefer it without the pulp, you have two options:
Pour the blended beverage through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth to make it more clear.
Or, omit the pumpkin purée, sweetener and pumpkin pie spices and use this pumpkin spice simple syrup to add sweet pumpkin flavor.
Leftover storage: This fall punch can be stored in the fridge for no longer than a few days. The pumpkin does tend to settle over time, so it is best served on the day of preparation, but is completely drink-worthy the next day or two as well.
How to serve the punch without a punch bowl: You can use a pitcher or even a blender to hold the beverage. Some more creative options include: a hollowed out pumpkin, beverage dispenser, mason jars or large glass jars, vintage jugs, wine decanters or a large bowl.
Ice cube tip: To keep the punch from becoming diluted, it's best to add ice cubes to individual glasses rather than the punch bowl. Or, try freezing some orange or apple juice in an ice cube tray and use those to chill the punch instead.
