Elevate Your Next Spicy Dish with Zesty Lime Sauce
This lime sauce adds a creamy, zesty flavor to spicy chicken, shrimp and other seafood, fish tacos, rice bowls, sandwiches, wraps and more. You can also use it as a dressing and drizzle it over a blackened chicken salad.
Here are more reasons to love it:
- It’s easy to prepare.
- Only 4 ingredients.
- That sweet heat flavor combination is a spice lover's dream.
Try it with this blackened chicken sandwich, kimchi chicken rice bowl, some kimchi tacos, shrimp tacos or grilled halibut.
Ingredients
- mayo - While a typical lime crema sauce would use sour cream as the base, this sauce uses mayo--my favorite base for dressings and sauces.
- fresh limes - I use regular limes that you’ll find in any grocery store but if you want to make it a little more interesting, try it with key limes.
- agave nectar - You can substitute with liquid honey.
- cumin - Cumin complements spicy food with its warm flavor.
